How do I get a credit card with kinda bad credit?

My credit has about 3 maybe 4 things on it that aren't so good. I've been trying to get a credit card and build my credit up but I only get approved for prepaid cards. They want me to deposit $300-$500 a month for 3 months into a savings account for them and then I get approved to use that card. If I had that kind of money, I wouldn't need the damn card in the 1st place, lol.
